1. What do you actually do?
A. At Rubbish Removals London we are licensed, trained and insured to carry out domestic and commercial junk clearance jobs. We work on all sorts of tasks. No project is too big or too small for us to handle.
2. Is there some type of rubbish you will not collect?
A. The general rule is that we do not handle any sort of hazardous materials. Those require special equipment, vehicles and training that our technicians do not possess. In case you need to dispose of such type of waste, we’d recommend that you contact your local council for information how you can manage such a job.
3. So, what about…?
A. Apart from hazardous materials, there is hardly a kind of domestic or office rubbish that we will not be able to collect, drive to the depot and dispose/recycle. From everyday household rubbish to garden waste, old furniture and broken down appliances, old tyres etc. – we will be happy to help you with getting rid of everything.
4. Do you recycle?
A. We are a rather eco-conscious firm, so we try to deposit as large a quantity of all junk we collect for recycling as possible. If the material in question does not allow recycling, we will see that it is disposed of following all guidelines and rules.
5. How much will it cost me to have my rubbish removal carried out by you?
A. The price of our service is estimated in accordance to several aspects – quantity of the junk that is to be collected, the schedule on which you need the job done, any specs of the individual project (including parking fees needed) etc. We’d recommend that you contact our customer support for more details and quotes.
6. What does it mean to get a free quote from you?
A. The free no obligation quote that you are going to receive in advance from our company is going to be the final price of the service. Unless there is a change in the specs of the rubbish removal itself e.g. schedule, type and quantity of junk to be removed etc. – the price you are told will be the one to pay upon completion of the project – no hidden fees and additional charges at the end.
7. On what schedule can you get the job done?
A. We operate on a very flexible schedule that we do our best to fit to the requirements of the individual client who approaches us. We can work on bank holidays and weekends in addition to the typical Monday to Friday work week. Unfortunately, we cannot provide you with evening and night rubbish removals, because most councils do not allow for such operations due to disturbance of the peace of their residents.
8. How much junk can you collect?
A. We have a fleet of waste collection vehicles that come in different sizes and can fit various amounts of junk accordingly. Generally, most of our rubbish removal trucks can fit up to 1100 kg, which is more than enough for the majority of projects we are hired for across London.
9. Will you get my home/office dirty?
A. We pride ourselves as being completely professional and very diligent in all rubbish removals that we are hired for. We are going to do our best to leave no traces of our work on your property. Causing damage to it is out of the question. We will however, ask you to remove bulky furniture, carpets and other items that might get in the way while we are working at your place.
10. What will you do with the waste you collect?
A. Once the rubbish in on one of our trucks, we will drive it to the depot nearest to your address for disposal and recycling. We have permissions with all London recycling depots that require one, which enables us to complete every task we are hired for in due time… and move on to the next.
11. What can you tell me about the skip hire alternative?
A. A skip is a special devise that is suitable for certain specific rubbish removals, such as after-builders and garden clearance of a large scale. With a rubbish removal service you will be paying for the amount of junk collected, while the price of the skip hire is fixed – hence it can be potentially much more expensive. Another inconvenience is the fact that most councils in London require a special permit to use a skip at your property.
12. Can you tell me more about your team?
A. We have hired vetted technicians with long years of experience in the field of rubbish removals in London. All members of our team are certified and insured, as well as very energetic and friendly.
13. What equipment do you use?
A. We have access to high-quality tools that are needed for the proper completion of rubbish removals in London – brooms, shovels, garbage bags, trolleys, vacuum cleaners, dust sheets and much more.
14. How soon should I book a rubbish removal with you?
A. Naturally, we’d prefer an as advanced notice as possible. The ideal scenario is at least two days prior to the date of the waste collection. However, we accept waste minute booking in special circumstances.
